searching from a content page

I was able to view the stand alone search page from an url containing "texis/webinator "

Does this mean that all searches have to be done from the stand alone page or can searches be done from a content page?

You can place the search form on any html page. Simply extract it from the search page you're already seeing by viewing the source of the page in your browser. Then place the form into the desired html (content) page.
