corrupt license memory

On a reinstall of texis, I get the following error:

Texis Web Script (Vortex) Copyright (c) 1996-2000 Thunderstone - EPI, Inc.
Unknown Version 3.01.965857894 of Aug 9, 2000 (i686-intel-winnt)

000 Corrupt license memory
000 Cannot get config settings

Did you make sure that all running copies of Texis were stopped before reinstalling Texis? You should remove the license.key file, any texissc?.dll files from the system32 directory, and copy license.upd from the CD into the install directory. That should get you a clean start.
