The last time I tried to install Webinator was 4 or 5 years ago. At that time the inability to write to the machine root was the problem. I had to give up.
The problem reappeared in the latest Webinator 5.1.
The /usr/local/morph3 is unwritable on virtual account machines. Pointing to a temp directory I created in my account root appeared to work for extracting the files.
The ./install questions about the location of the cgi-bin and the prefix problem http://domain.com/cgi-bin
seem to be insurmountable.
The install is creating a directory in the cgi-bin directory that is write protected and the vortex question fails.
It seems like to me that if I don't get this evaluation install working....there can't be any paydays for Thunderstone. I work volunteer but don't have much time nor training to discover stuff that should be addressed in a faq somewhere.
HELP!
