RE(2): RE(2): Order of PDF abstract

Post by Thunderstone »

Hi Thunderstone Tech Support,

I sent out a query about the order of the abstract for PDF documents about
a month ago (see attached summary). Did you ever come up with anything?

Thanks,

information

I see what yo mean now. Perhaps the disclaimer is some kind of boiler
plate or overlay that is put in first and the filter is not getting
it in the right place. I'll have to check with adobe to see if there
are any options we can use to get text out in a more sensible order with
this kind of document. (Their API is virtually undocumented).

We got some information from Adobe that may help. We need to test it out
on the problem document(s) and make sure it doesn't cause problems with
other documents.
