Recovery from Too many rows

Post by phoebe »

Hi
I got free webinator running on my system and sent it off on a crawl. A couple hours later my screen was full of access violations and it seemed that webinator tried to insert too many rows into the database. I then tried to get in there to delete some data, but I was blocked from using the database. In the end, I blew away an entire database directory and it let me back in after a couple minutes. Is there a more graceful way to recover from this?
Thanks in advance, Phoebe.

In general it's set to stop one short of the license limit. Not sure why it would exceed that but you could set "Max pages" to say 10 or 20 below your limit.

Also, under List/Edit urls you should be able to delete items.

At the time monitor would not run at all, the only thing it would do is display a license violation message. I am not sure how running webinator would help. Since I blew away the directory already. I will try it next time it happens.
