Webinator crawl failed: Invalid query term 15: "-" in the function get equivs

Post by phoebe »

I used webinator to crawl a site and it failed with this error:
015 /var/www/html/beta2/dowalk(dispatch) 3285: Invalid query term 15: "-" in the function get equivs

100 /var/www/html/beta2/dowalk(dispatch) 3285: Setmmapi Home Search Contact Us National Cancer Institute SEER SEER skip navigation Cancer.gov National Cancer Institute - Surveillance Epidemiology and End Results SEER SEER Fast Stats -Choose a Cancer Site- All Sites Bones Failed

100 /var/www/html/beta2/dowalk(dispatch) 3285: Metamorph open failed.
Not able to create Metamorph indexes on new database

It seems to be a problem with '-' in the abstract. I am only using the default word definition. The indices seemed to have been created, but I am unable to search for anything.

Shouldn't either urlinfo() or abstract() have stripped the dashes??
Is there a good broad setting I can use to avoid this kind of problem?

Thanks in advance
Phoebe.
