Texis Platform Compatibility

Will Texis run on a Quad Opteron running Suse Linux???

Depends on the Suse version but it should run as long as the kernel and glibc are sufficient. You want kernel 2.4.9 or later and glibc 2.2. It's known to run on kernel 2.4.23 with glibc 2.3 (among others).

It's not been tested on opteron though. Don't know any customers are using it there or not.

well we have the full linux version of texis. I guess we will be the first to try it. If it doesn't work I'll let you know.
