scheduling 'pause walk and live'

Can I get some help in writing a script that pauses a walk and makes it live either (1) at a fixed time I specify OR (2) after running for specified number of hours (I guess the first one should be easier as I can schedule the script to run from 'scheduled tasks' may be?)

I really need to employ either (1) or (2), so any help is appreciated.

Use the "hold" entry to dowalk to issue the pause command. See http://www.thunderstone.com/texis/site/ ... ing+dowalk for syntax. You could invoke it with cron (or whatever system scheduler you have) or with texis <schedule>. See http://www.thunderstone.com/site/vortexman/node56.html
