Various questions

Post by Thunderstone »

Hi, we are looking at the possibility of using webinator but had a few
questions.

1. currently -C disables /cgi-bin/ however there seem to be many cgi
type interfaces around, ASP being one, is there any option to prevent
traversing anything with a "?" in it?

2. with the -domain tag is it possible to specify a wildcard eg
-domain=*.foo.com to allow any sites ending in .foo.com to be indexed?

Thanks
Chris

Webinator will not follow .asp's or extensions other that .html .htm and .txt
unless you tell it to.

"-domain=.foo.com" will do what you want. As stated in the documentation, it's
a suffix match, so no wildcard is needed.
