Status: 500 Script not found or Vortex error

Post by klaus.guggisberg »

I've made a new Installation with release 5.1.
I configured all necessary files in IIS 6.0 like Web Service Extension. My problem is now I can't start the Administration. The dowalk script was not found.
I checked the local installation and the dowalk file is located in the Texis/scripts Installation folder.
Are there any special File permissions for Webinator on the local installationfiles ?
Here the URL:
http://138.190.1.81/scripts/texis.exe/webinator/dowalk
I configured the Web Service Extension as described in posting:

The dowalk script should be in the Texis\Scripts\Webinator subfolder of your installation folder. I_USR (or whatever user IIS uses for scripts) should have read/write perms to create/read/write files in that dir.

Your webserver's CGI implemenation is broken. It's giving incorrect path information to texis so texis thinks that the script should be scripts/texis.exe/webinator/dowalk . If you can't fix the webserver you might be able to get it working by making a directory texis.exe under scripts and putting the webinator subdir and below in that.
