Web Script

Hi, I'm using webinator 2.5 free version, running on a windows 95 system
with Personal Web Server as a stand alone machine. I down loaded the
example user interface script for Alta Vista and have changed DB to
point to the location of my database. When I try to load the example
page (renamed main.htm), I get a blank page. Is there something I need
to setup for <SCRIPT LANGUAGE=vortex> to be recognized by my browser?

You have to run all vortex scripts with texis, just like the default
search script that comes with the Webinator package. Do not use an extension
when naming your scripts. To run a script called av that resides in the
webinator directory use something along the lines of:

Common on unix systems:
http://www.yoursite.com/cgi-bin/texis/webinator/av

Common on NT/95 systems:
http://www.yoursite.com/scripts/texis.exe/webinator/av
