dashes in part numbers

Is it possible to get Webinator 4.4.3 to ignore dashes.. We have many items with dashes in the part number. I would like webinator to return 123-456 when 123456 is seached for. Is this possible?

Noise characters are supported in current Version 5 Webinator, however they are not supported in Version 4.

I see, What other things are new in the upgrade? One other thing I do not like about or current version is, I would like a search for 246 to return 2468 & abc246 & abc2468. Can V5 do this?

I guess tell me what else I gain with version 5.

See http://thunderstone.master.com/texis/ma ... 40abbab817 about webinator 5.

Version 4 and 5 can both do wildcards such as 246* to get anything that starts with 246. Doing *246 or *246* is possible but can not take advantage of an index and would run slowly on any non-trivial dataset.
