Recategorization of replicated index

Post by isenhowe »

Per a previous suggestion (http://thunderstone.master.com/texis/ma ... 4419cfd610), I set up replication from one profile to another on the same search appliance in order to include documents indexed in one to the other without having to rewalk the sites.

However, when the replication occurs, my categorization sets are messed up. Can I schedule a recat on the profile following the refresh of the replicated profiles?

Do you have different categories in each profile?

Yes, each profile has a set of categories. I'd like to refresh the categorization on the profile that receives the replicated data.

In replication it's expected that the categories are the same (and in the same order) in both profiles. There's not really a way to force recategorization without interactively making a change to the categories.
