"METASEARCH

A parallel metasearch engine written in Texis Webscript (Vortex) and
runnable
with the Webinator 2.5 /cgi-bin/texis program is available for free
at http://www.thunderstone.com/texis/demos/meta/ ."

We would like to hire a consultant to put this on our server (linux red
hat, with apache). Could you give us a fixed rate or refer this request
to someone who could?

Thanks,
Dusty Ridge

You'll probably fall off your chair, but we charge $2K/day for consulting
and most other Thunderstone certified developers charge between 1200 and
$2000/day.

We'd be happy to do it for you, but yuou might want to try yourself,
its not that hard.

Thanks,
Bart Richards

That's not really that much. I'd say that standard rates for
consulting--at least around here--are $250/hr. So a full day's work works
out to about $2K.

Question:

The output of gw is:

m/n
page

What is n? It gets HUGE. Is this the number of links in the to do list?
If so, how does Webinator make sure that duplicate links are eliminated?
