Personal web search

Hello

Im looking for a service or if this does not exist would like to build a service that would monitor certain (10) news/blog websites.

I would like to recieve an email when there is a new accurance of a keyword im monitoring. I cannot use search engines like Google because the data must be updated verry often(5 min or so).

It would also be verry helpful if i could monitor protected webpages, that require login/cookie.

Please if anyone can help me or just point me in the right direction i would really appreciate it.

Webinator off-the-shelf may get you most of the way there. A small mod to the script to update every 5 minutes instead of every 15. And to perform a search of new content after the update.

Or you could purchase Texis to do a full blown profiling app.
