Appliance Update: Meta Search + Results per Site

Post by Kai »

There are two Appliance updates now available: texis 5.01.1188938004 and texisScripts 6.2.14-6. The former contains fixes for obtaining text from certain Excel documents with large string tables. The latter contains numerous fixes: Results per Site supported with Meta Search. Results Authorization supported with Meta Search and XML. More pagination links shown, ie. beyond next>>, for initial Results Authorization searches, where possible. XML results show <TotalIsShort>, <UserResultsIsShort>, <ProfileInfo> tags now; <UserResultsNum> now always shown for consistency. XML tag <GroupBySite> moved inside <Summary> element now, and value changed to Y from yes, for consistency with other values. <ExitIsEarly>, <ExitReason> moved to <ProfileInfo> from <Summary>. Default XSL stylesheet updated to reflect changes; custom XSL stylesheets should be updated by admin. $jump now always user-visible (not raw), for Results Authorization searches too. Show correct default Results per Site value in Advanced Search form. Make webmin link correct when appliance is behind NAT. Ensure that replication destination profiles have all needed search indices. Meta Search results more balanced across back-end profiles when ranks equal. Fix for Sherlock with XML results.

These updates are available via the Maintenance -> Check for Updates link on the Appliance.

texisScripts 6.2.14 also includes query log compression when emailed, an option to attach the query log to the walk status email, and the ability to see more than 100 errors via the "show errors" link on the bottom of the walk status page.

And the emailed error report now includes a referring URL, and replication destination profiles will have the proper search indices created.
