Controlling Abstract Presentation

Post by Thunderstone »

Is there any way to "fool" the abstract presentation into showing only
what we'd like?

The documents we search are all formatted by us, and we'd like to only
show the first 2 lines.

However, they are of variable length, so just setting the "asz" value
doesn't do the trick. We tried padding with spaces after those lines,
out to the value of "asz", but spaces are ignored when counting
characters for the abstract.

Any other workaround tricks?

No. It only counts characters output when counting asz.
You would have to write a custom Texis application to get that level
of control over the output.
