Post by Thunderstone »

Hi,

I have noticed thad webinator handles some kind of letters following
esachother incorrectly - it might be me but here is the problem:

this problem can be seen if one ise using non english alphabet and if two or
more characters which are using 7 bit char codes are following each other.
you can see this by looking at :
http://otsing.sl.ee/cgi-bin/texis/webin ... ery=röövel

the thing you should be looking for is the place where you see
the word "rövel" ("rövel") which actually is written "röövel".

Has someone seen this before and if not what to do about it ?

Thank You in advance ...

Your web server apparently is not setup for the locale you are
indexing. The abstracter removes replicate non-alphanumeric characters
where alphanumeric is defined by the system's locale settings.

You also need to run "gw -index" so "more like this" and "match info" will
work. You probably used -noindex or interrupted it.
