Backing Up Best Bets?

Post by msanders »

We have a fairly robust set of best bets for some of our profiles which have been generated over the course of many years. Is there a good way to do backups of those? My end goal is to have the data in some format that either could be read by a human and hand entered or imported in the event we ever had to start over from scratch (ex: if there was a major disaster and we lost our current appliance).

We do back up our profiles, but when I did a CTRL+F on a string from our best bets, I don't see that data in the profile backup XML files.

Best Bets are included in the XML backup. Underneath each <Profile> element should be a <BestBets> element, which contains <BestBetGroup> elements, each of which has one or more <BestBet>. If a profile doesn't have any best bets, then the <BestBet> won't be there.

Are any of those elements present in your backup?

Ah, yes I found them, wonderful. That is perfect. I guess I just picked a bad phrase to use for searching. Sorry about that, and thank you so much for your help.
