No, it is not currently possible to install texisdnt as a service on Windows.

so is it not possible to install it via your api, or might maybe a app like AnySrv do the job ? Does texisdnt requires the created windows e.g. for socket polling ?

I'm not sure about AnySrv, and if that would work. The windows aren't used for socket polling, only for status display.

The functionality of texisdnt.exe will be rolled into the monitor which can run as a service in the future.

Is there anything new on this? We'd really like to have texisdnt running as a service in our configuration.

Could you elaborate as to how you made it work? I've managed to make Texisdnt run as a service as well using srvany. However, when queries are made against the database, the child processes are not killed and eats up the resources on my server. I'd appreciate any details that you can share. Thanks!
