We generally discourage using third party interface layers,

But, if you purchased a full Texis license recently you should find an extras.tar file on your CD that contains an unsupported JDBC interface.

where do we get extras.tar if we downloaded texis from your ftp site?
for:
Commercial Version 3.01.984596778 of Mar 14, 2001 (i686-unknown-linux2.2.5)

If you recontact Thunderstone as you did for the download they should be able to also provide the corresponding extras.tar.
