Help me

Post by Greeny »

I am in search of someone that can help me with a problem that we are having at one of my clients. We need someone that can
come in and help us for a couple of days, or even maybe via teleconference help. Below is a description. We are located in
NYC. Please call me directly at 610-832-3250 if you can help.
(#1) Position:
Texis Consultant to fix immediate problem.

Description:
A consultant proficient in the Texis Content Management database (by Thunderstone) and the
Vortex/Webscript scripting language is needed to solve 2 production problems for an internal
web site: the Frame of Reference web site for the Policies and Procedures department.

Problems:

1. PDF documents are not being indexed and therefore not showing up properly in search
results. While the HTML documents are. The documents are searchable on the staging site, but
not on production. We are unable to move the files from Staging to production, as the sites are not in
sync.
2. 2 Publications (sets of documents) identified by separate ID's, are browseable but when
performing a search, the two ID's are integrated into one in the search result page.

Skills Required:
Texis, Vortex/Webscript, HTML

Time Frame:
Immediately. Consultant needs to be on-site if possible

You can post your immediate problems here (it sounds like the webinator section would be the most appropriate) or use the tech support link on the left menu to contact Thunderstone tech support privately.
