The multi-lingual support in the Webinator has not been tested to
any great extent. The product as it stands has an English bias
which has regrettably affected your usage.
It's not that we don't care about languages other than English,
its more like the situation between Mac's and PC's ; We've targeted
the largest population first.

You are very vague. Are you talking about the
"Index your site! ( we maintain it for you )" option?
If so, a given user may only request a single site be walked.
If you need to walk multiple sites, you should download and use the free
version of webinator.

..
Apparently Webinator was not installed entirely correctly. gw should be
setuid to the web server's user id. If this is not possible, you will
have to chmod the database files after the walk. Just add the chmod
command to the end of your walk script.

pdftotx is our PDF and word processor plugin. It is an add on option
for commercial webinator (not free). It can now handle other formats
as well, including ms word.
See

There is a <split> command in vortex, but in this case a <rex> expression
would be easier:
<rex ">><\!-- Important info -->=!<\!-- End -->+" $input_data>
<$important_data=$ret>
will do what you desire
