Linux Port 80 Requirement

We are considering using Webinator
but web site says port 80 is mandatory.

For those of us with a single IP address,
port 80 is used for httpd

Why can't we use another port for this service

Sorry, you misunderstand. Webinator will NOT in any way interfere with your webserver or use up any server ports on your system. What is required is simply the ability to make web page requests on outbound port 80 to ls.thunderstone.com. The same thing you do when you run netscape and access a web page.
