Texisdnt Dr. Watson error

Post by skalyanaraman »

Hi,
We are using Texisdnt so that we can connect through the api's to a Texis database. We have Texisdnt.exe running on the server. We ran our program 10-15 times and one after every 10-15 tries we get a Broken pipe error in our C - program. When we go the server there is a Dr. Watson error:

App: (pid=661)
When: 6/19/2001 @ 15:22:50.703
Exception number: c0000005 (access violation)

where pid=661 is Texisdnt.exe.

Do you people know what the problem is? How we can fix it and so on...

Thanks!!

We would need some more information to go on. Which version of Texis are you using? Are you able to reliably reproduce the error by issuing the same SQL? Are you logging messages from texisdnt to a file, and are there any messages?

Texisdnt Dr. Watson error

Hi,
Thanks John. We are using Texis version 3.0, from June 13 2001(This is your favourite Casecentral people, who ask too many questions!!). We are not logging any error messages yet. We are trying to reproduce the error message with the same set of data and so on.
This is kind of last minute for us. Sorry. As I have mentioned before we are releasing a new version of our product which depends on this to work consistently.
Our programmer is trying to come up with more information and more data so that we can present it to you.

Thanks!!

If you get more details you can send them to support@thunderstone.com, rather than sharing your details with the entire group.
