Hi!

I installed Webinator and at first it seems to work great. But when I get
the result of a query, none of the links into Webinator works (like e.g.
Hits 11-20). This is the error message I get:

Error

002 /webinator/search/ KwwBmeSDQ1Xwwwwq_qhzdrwDnrmercwww: Can't open source
file
C:\appl\net\Xitami\webpages/webinator/search/
KwwBmeSDQ1Xwwwwq_qhzdrwDnrmercwww: No such file or directory
in the function compilefile

Any ideas what this might be? Mistakes during install?

/J

PS. we're planning on buying the program, so we _really_ need this stuff to
work ;)

Your webserver (Xitami v2.2d3) is mangling the requested url before
giving it to texis. Specifically, it's turning + into space in the
requested url path, which is incorrect (it should only do that in the
query string).

You need to try a newer version of that web server or switch to a
different one that processes requests correctly.

Apparently you have another program called "gw" which is not Webinator
installed in your path before Webinator's gw. Give the path to Webinator's
gw or place it earlier in the path (or rename it).

That means the DNS on the machine where webinator is installed is not able to lookup the specified hosts via DNS.

What was the full gw command line you used to start the walk?
