anytotx pdf problem

I'm attempting to use anytotx on the pdf and it's telling me that pdf's are not supprted in this version. Here is the verison info and the statement I attempting to use. I'm using this in a vortex script, but I was gettting an error so I'm trying to get it to work on the command line. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Commercial Version 4.00.998370235 of Aug 21, 2001 (i686-unknown-linux2.4.2-64)

Adobe does not support the PDF library under Linux, which is why PDF's aren't supported. There is the new version of anytotx that doesn't rely on Adobe's libs which I'll see about getting onto FTP for you.
