Hello...

i have the Commercial Version of Webinator on a winNt (SP6)
when i try to index the server, i recive the following error message:

2001/06/12 00:11:15 Can't create socket: WSAEINPROGRESS - a blocking Windows Sockets operation is in progress

the installed version is 2.56, release 20001030

my gw-commands:
gw -wipe -dd:/webinator/test_db
gw -dd:/webinator/test_db http://www.test.com

Those commands look correct. You are running from the command prompt? Does the error occur immediately, or after you have been running for a while?

yes, i'am running the commands from the command prompt.

the failure occurs after indexing the first page.

Try using -dns=sys
gw -dns=sys -dd:/webinator/test_db http://www.test.com

Persumably this has been working for some time already. What changed?
