I get the following error message when I perform a compile. It only happens approx. once out of every 50 or so compiles.

006 filename: Can't rename filename.vtc to .vtx: Permission denied

Any ideas ?

Windows will not let you rename a file that is open, so the .vtx file is probably open at the time you are trying to compile.
