License expired???

Post by dplass »

Running "free" version of Webinator on WinNT with Apache -- and today it told me the license expired! I thought this was a free, demo, untimed, unlocked, no-license-required version of Webinator?!?!?!
What gives? Do I have to download it again, or did I miss something important in the so-called 'license agreement'?

That shouldn't happen. We can examine and fix it if you provide the "Serial number" that's displayed when you run
texis -license
from the command line (msdos prompt, telnet window, or such). -license prints a lot of info. The serial number is near the top.
Please also provide the IP address of the machine where it's installed. You can mark the message private so the public won't see.

D'oh, my fault.

I think that I might have caused the problem myself...I think it was installed using 'localhost' and I was running with 127.0.0.1...so I tried it again with 'localhost' and it worked.

Sorry
