Hi,
I have noticed that under Solaris and Webinator v2.56, additional files are being created prefixed with a . (dot).eg
.refs.tbl.gfayUJ.75aq.Z
.refs.tbl.3ba41J
.refs.tbl.gfayUJ
.xrefsurl.btr.18aOGd
.xrefsurl.btr.RsaqIh
.xrefsurl.btr.JWaWTg
.refs.tbl.gGayGR
.querylog.tbl.xuainD
.xrefsurl.btr.CoaqEt
To me these look like some sort of temporary file that is created for whatever reason.
Is is safe to delete these files? (I have in the past but maybe it was good luck more than good management that it didn't crash on me)
Why does it create these files?
Sure, I am hacking around at the moment, so maybe that explains it.. but I would just like to know.
regards,
Neil.
