Descriptive text on search results

Post by ptaylor »

We have spidered our pages and the search is working fine, however, the descriptive text for each result grabs the first available block of text on the page. On our pages we have County Hall's address and directions on the left, so every result has the 'how to get to county hall' text. We need the spider to list from where our 'Page Content' starts.
Has anyone come across this problem and is there an answer.
If I'm not making sense, have a look at our search results at www.worcestershire.gov.uk/

Thanks, Paul.

It sounds like you're using webinator 2, not webinator 4 which will show the first match instead of the beginning of the page by default. You can get hit context with webinator 2 by customizing the search script or grabbing the "search with hit context" example from the web site
