We just installed a dual processor server system running LINUX, 2GB of RAM and have been indexing the tables. When viewing the CPU load, we noticed that only one processor was loaded to +95% and the other processor was basically not used. We expected that both processors would be participating in the indexing. Is there something we need to enable to allow Texis to run on both processors during indexing and searching?

Dual Processor Operation
The OS will do processor sharing. The index process stays on a single cpu leaving the other available for searching etc. The OS will inherently balance searches across all available cpus.
