IS URL reading, a browser dependent?
Because when i tried to access an URL I am getting error
as Your current browser is not supported by this site. You may proceed, however, some site functionality will not work with your chosen browser.
To experience the full functionality of this site, please exit and try again using Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher.
The web browser that you are using is not configured to run JavaScript.This application requires the use of JavaScript. Please configure your browser to run JavaScript.

You've encountered a poorly designed website that is designed for only one particular brand and version of browser and requires particular option settings. It's entirely up to the webmaster to make such choices. It is also the webmaster of that site that is giving that message. There's not a lot you can do about it except complain to the site owners where that message came from.

Some sites are designed using features that only certain browsers support. Were you walking or <fetch>ing this site with Webinator? It may be that the site didn't recognize Webinator's user agent as a known browser with such capabilities. Try setting the User Agent field to something like:

Mozilla 4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT)

so the site will think you've got Explorer. If the site is dependent on JavaScript, you might also need to upgrade to Webinator 4.1 which can index JavaScript links (see http://www.thunderstone.com/).

BTW, if you're trying to crawl a site that requires javascript you may be interested in the latest version of texis which can crawl javascript. Contact sales if so.
