Indexer output

Post by Thunderstone »

Hello,

Does anyone know exactly how the indexer reports information? As each page
is visited, two numbers are output, separated by a /. The first number is
the number of pages visited this session. The second appears to be have
something to do with the number of links. My question is, is it the number
of links added to the todo list or the number of links encountered? I
presume that links are added to the todo list only if they are a part of
one of the sites that is being indexed, but that is just an assumption.

I couldn't find the docs that describe the indexing process. Does anyone
have any pointers?

Thanks,
Erick

The numbers are links-visited/links-seen .
links-seen includes everything, desired or not.
Only links not seen already that also pass the various command line
restrictions are added to todo.
