Greetings,

I have installed the Texis engine onto my windows 2k pro box. The installation completes successfully. However when I start the engine, it never completes the initialization.
I run: texisdnt.exe -a

Is this normal????

That's fairly normal. It's awaiting a client connection.

Unless you're using the C api and doing queries of the local database from remote machines you won't need texisdnt.

Most people do all of their Texis work in vortex.
