We've got a client who wants us to put up a 10 TB database for them to search against. The largest we've ever done with texis is 100GB. We're using your Unix version of texis, about a year old, on Sun Solaris boxes.
Do you folks have an upper limit for table sizes? 10 TB sounds ridiculous to my ears, even when you put hardware considerations aside for a moment. How do your large clients handle situations like this, in general?
Thanks for the advice.
