kdbfchk error

Post by jkj2001 »

Hi,

We've been getting these error messages when accessing our table:

005 Corrupt block header at 0x1A2851DC in KDBF file /database/444/tblnew/tblnew.
tbl in the function read_head
005 Corrupt block header at 0x1A288CA4 in KDBF file /database/444/tblnew/tblnew.
tbl in the function read_head

I've tried running kdbfchk to see what's wrong, but I get this error immediately:

kdbfchk tblnew.tbl
Checking file tblnew.tbl:
Reading free tree and list
0% 50% 100%
000 ABEND: signal 10 (SIGBUS); exiting

Any idea if I'm doing something wrong? Our version of texis is Solaris 4.00.1019027849, FWIW. thanks.

I am getting the same error. Do I need to get the latest version of kdbfchk or do I need to upgrade Texis?

Kdbfchk is a part of Texis. You can't get one without the other.
