problem with anytotx.exe

Post by hqweb »

Hi,
we are trying to index pdf files and when I create a test profile and try and index one particular pdf file, we get the following error message :

Had this error: Error translating via anytotx: <EXEC> command E:\Appls\MORPH3\anytotx.exe returned exit code 1 002 Jan 9 14:50:45 Can't open work file c:\cvti00801a for writing: No space left on device (E:\Appls\MORPH3\anytotx.exe -fpdf --timeout=60 "--error-log=E:\Appls\MORPH3/texis/test/anytotx-errors.779")

any ideas?
thanks.

"No space left on device" in conjunction with a file/path ("c:\cvti00801a") indicates that disk (c:) is full. anytotx is trying to write a temporary file and ran out of space. Free up some space on that drive.

Alternatively (in this case), you can tell anytotx to use another drive as its temp directory: enter a path to an empty dir on another drive with lots of free space in the Temporary Dir setting under All Walk Settings.

Also check c:\ for old cvt* files and delete them: sometimes failed or aborted anytotx processes don't get a chance to delete them.
