Thunderstone Support Forums

Part of our site is in a password protected members area. Will Webinator
have any problems indexing these pages? Specifically, they are iChat message
boards. I have indexed and rewalked the site and they never appear.

You can use the -U and -P options to gw to specify a user and
password to access "Authentication: Basic" protected pages. Without
the correct user/password, Webinator can't access these pages: this
will show up in your log file as a 401 error.
