Equivalence

Post by goldenrayx »

I have set up a eqvsusr.lst file with a line of keywords that have the same meaning as follow

mc,master card,credit card

i have then referenced the file with the command "backref eqvsusr.lst eqvsusr".

The problem is i dont see any place to use the Equivalence in thunderstone afterwards. I have tried to look if there is any switches in the site configuration but cannot find any. Also it doesn't seem to be taking it automaticly.

Can anyone help me set this up.

thanks

Would i put these commandes in the search script rigth before the actual query search in the texis database or in the indexing script? Any examples would greatly help.

thanks

You would put them in the search script. Generally somewhere in the <a name=fpar> function.
