We are indexing multiple web-sites that potentially have copyrighted information on them. Is this legal to do? Especially when Webinator makes a copy of the information on a page to hold in the database to use for highlight keywords etc.

You shouldn't have a problem as long as you respect robots.txt and meta robots. But I am not a lawyer.
