This is part of the abstarct.

“flight to quality”

When I look at the actual website. They have
some text "flight to quality" some other text.

What is the issue here? It looks very bad on search results.

The latest scripts on the website should handle that better. Get dowalk and search. You'll need to perform a new walk with the new scripts.

I downloaded the latest dowalk script and performed walk with new script. The issue is not just with quotation marks, also with apostrophes (') and bullets (and many other special characters I suspect).

I have modified search script heavily, so I would appreciate if you can explain to me where in search script it affects the results (I guess the <result1> through <result7> functions and <setupresults>, am I right?) I am using <result2> and <result4>, could you explain what to look for when resolving this issue?

I have located the fixcharset function and updated my search script acc. This didn't solve the issue.

I do not want to replace my search script but willing to do whatever changes you suggest in the script.

This issue sometimes also involves the database itself. Contact tech support at Thunderstone and open a ticket to resolve this.

There is a bug in your fixcharset function. the result numbers do not increment.
