abstract length function

Am trying to vary the amount of abstract displayed using this option but am seeing no difference no matter value I enter. Do I need to vary the other display options? Using Webinator 5.02

Were you checking the "Test Search"? Settings apply to the test search until you are happy and apply the setting.
