Index upgrade message

When issuing an index command on an existing index I get the following message:
200 Upgrading Metamorph index c:\morph3\texis\newswires\T02372a from version 1 to 2: Old Texis releases may now be incompatible with it
000 Could not update paramete table c:\morph3\texis\newswires\T03468a_P
000 Update of Metamorph index Headline failed

The command I'm using is:
create metamorph inverted index Headline on entity(Headline)

I'm using version 05.01.1096656144(20041001)

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

This is not related to webinator.

Drop and recreate the index.

I did recreate the index and it seems fine now, but what was the problem?

The content wasn't collected via webinator. It was inserted using timport, and other index updates completed successfully. Did the index become corrupted somehow?

What was the upgrade from v1 to v2 that was attempted? I haven't upgraded the version of Texis since installing.

I mentioned Webinator because this is the Webinator group. This should have been posted under Texis & Metamorph.

It apparently thought the index was from an old version of Texis and tried to upgrade it. It must have been corrupt somehow if you've never upgraded. Impossible to say how at this point.
