We're using xslt transformation for the search results and have run into a problem. It seems the "Show parents" link returns invalid xml. The xml parser error displayed is "A semi colon character was expected."
for the line:
<TargetUrl>http://www.mycompany.com/servlet/se.eme ... /TargetUrl>
Apparently, IE chokes on the un-escaped ampersands "&" which should of course read "&" in xml format. How can we fix this?

Found a corresponding thread for this problem, saying it should have been fixed in v5.3.2. We're running automatic updates and have the 5.4.4 scripts, but the error is still there.
Any ideas?

That was fixed in 5.3.2. Use "check for updates" under "maintenance" to get the latest scripts. You might wait an hour or so as 5.4.0 will be released "any minute now".
