Hello!

We're experiencing problems with the ignore case feature. It works well for "normal" characters, but not for scandinavian characters, where for example å and Å should be matched.

Is there some adjustment that we can make?

Regards,

Not currently. As long as you have "Prevent Duplicates" on it will prevent having the same page in the database twice even though it may fetch it twice.

Thanks for the swift reply, but I'm not sure we are talking about the same thing. What I mean is that a if a page contains the word "bär", the query "Bär" will find it, but not the query "BÄR".

This looks to me like a bug, since the manual under section Forming a Query - Keywords Phrases and Wild-cards clearly states:
-"To locate words, just type them in as you would in a word processor. Letter cases will be ignored."

Any ideas?

The appliance doesn't currently know your locale so it can't do caseless comparisons right. Sometime next week there will be an update to allow you to set the locale to make that work as expected.
