feature request - keep log of past indexing results

I didn't see a place to request new features in upcoming versions of Webinator, so I'm making my request here. I would like to see Webinator keep track of the results of previous indexings. Just the information it reports on the walk status page would be fine.

Last complete walk: 2005-10-06 15:35:04 (took 2 hours 34 minutes 42 seconds)
Success. 45,195 pages (1,674,060,325 bytes) (40188 errors) (33052 duplicates)

Sometimes when Webinator finishes indexing the values seem high or low and I wonder how that compares with previous runs. Now I capture this by hand but it would be nice if Webinator did this for us.

I'd like to follow up on this - v5.1.24 - I'm not seeing a Notify field where I can enter email address in All Walk Settings. The radio buttons are there for selecting logs but no field to populate the SSc_notify value.

If you're on windows there is no notify since there's no standard program for delivering email there. If you have a program that will deliver mail you can set the $sendmail variable to use it.

Thanks, that makes sense but then why does the Email field show for emailing the rotated query logs (if turned on) in the Search settings? This sets the SSc_qlognotify value for the profile.

An oversight.
