Will Webinator 4.x work properly on a server drive that has the 8x3 namespace turned off?

We haven't tried it, but it should as Webinator doesn't know anything about the short names.

Does anyone have any advice about working with Windows 2003 file locking? I have trouble deleting old Webinator profiles because Texis never seems to have enough permissions to delete the database files. I have to stop both the Texis monitor and the web server (IIS) because the monitor and the Texis CGI have the files open.

Stop using the profile from admin or search for a couple of minutes and the monitor should go away automatically thereby making the profile deletable.
