You may be hitting a number of files open limit. It should continue
past that error. But it won't be able to log errors to the error table.
Can you try it logged in as root or get the number of open files/process
increased a little on your system?
Does:
gw -st "select NAME from SYSTABLES"
show the error table?
Does:
gw -st "select * from error"
work? (It may not print anything if the table is empty, but it
shouldn't cause any error messages either).

Dear Sirs,

I have downloaded WEBINATOR for HP-UX and installed it. So far
no problems.

If I would like to build the DB with

gw -v -w0 http://rp-online.de:8668

I get the following errors.

http://rp-online.de:8668/formel1/rennen/spanien.html
1996/07/09 15:08:25 Document not found:
http://rp-online.de:8668/formel1/rennen/spanien.html returned code 404 (Not
found)

This is ok, the page isn't there.

But now:

1996/07/09 15:08:25 Unable to open table
/home/RP-Online/RP-Online/webinator/db/error
1996/07/09 15:08:25 No such table: error
1996/07/09 15:08:25 SQLExecute() failed with -1

The table is there, the rights are "rw-rw-r" and the owner is the same
as for gw, webinator and ...

I use a HP K200 with 128MB of Memory, about 8 GB of diskspace
The OS-version is HP-UX 10.01.

Can anyone give me clue?
